What scissor lift inspection covers
We examine the scissor stack for cracking, wear and deformation, measure the pivots and pins that carry the elevating loads, and assess the platform, guardrails and access gate. Stability features, including pothole protection and tilt sensing, are verified, and the hydraulic and control systems are checked for correct and safe operation.
Because scissor lifts are hired hard, we pay particular attention to accumulated impact damage and to the wear that develops in the many pinned joints of the scissor mechanism.
