EWP Inspections NT

Independent EWP, crane and access equipment certification across the Northern Territory, from Darwin in the tropical north to Alice Springs in the centre.

The Northern Territory spans tropical Darwin — a port, defence and oil-and-gas hub — and the arid centre around Alice Springs, with mining, pastoral and infrastructure work in between. Cranes, telehandlers and EWPs work in extreme heat, humidity and dust across vast distances. EWP Certification Australia provides independent inspection and certification across the territory to AS 1418.10, the AS 2550 series and the NT WHS legislation.

Territory-wide inspection coverage

Our NT coverage runs from Darwin and the Top End to Alice Springs and the Red Centre, reaching mine sites, ports, defence establishments and remote communities. Given the distances, our mobile teams travel to site so equipment is certified in place and coordinate around FIFO rosters and shutdowns.

  • Annual and periodic inspections to AS 2550.10 and AS 1418.10
  • 10-year major structural inspections for boom-type EWPs
  • Crane periodic and major inspections across the AS 2550 series
  • Corrosion and heat-focused structural assessment for the tropical north

Key industries we service in the NT

Darwin's port, LNG and defence operations run heavy cranes and access equipment; mining and resources across the territory operate demanding crane and telehandler fleets; and Alice Springs supports pastoral, tourism and remote-infrastructure work, all inspected to the appropriate standards.

Mobile engineering teams

We bring portable load-test and NDT equipment to remote and urban sites alike, certifying fixed and mobile plant in place and planning attendance around the long travel distances the territory demands.

Compliance documentation and audit support

Each inspection is supported by an engineering report, updated log-book entries and compliance-plate verification where required, with scheduled fleet compliance audits for resources and government operators.
