EWP Inspections Perth

On-site EWP and crane certification across greater Perth, from the CBD and infrastructure programs to the Kwinana industrial strip and Fremantle port.

Perth is the base for Western Australia's construction market and the fly-in fly-out workforce and supply chains that feed the resources sector. Between the CBD and Metronet transport program, the Kwinana industrial strip, Fremantle port and the industrial estates at Kewdale, Welshpool and Malaga, a large fleet of boom lifts, scissor lifts, truck-mounted EWPs and cranes is in service. EWP Certification Australia provides independent inspection and certification across the metropolitan area.

Construction and the Metronet program

The CBD, Perth's rail expansion and the road and infrastructure programs sustain demand for tower cranes, mobile cranes and articulating and telescopic boom lifts. We inspect these to AS 1418.10 and the AS 2550 series and carry out 10-year major structural inspections on ageing boom fleets.

We coordinate inspection windows with site management around program milestones so critical plant returns to service without delay.

Kwinana, Fremantle and industrial precincts

The Kwinana industrial strip — refining, chemicals and bulk handling — and Fremantle port operate overhead cranes, gantry cranes and heavy mobile cranes. We inspect and load-test these in place, working around continuous operations and shutdown windows.

Logistics and fabrication at Kewdale, Welshpool and Malaga run scissor-lift and telehandler fleets that we certify in coordinated whole-site visits.

Resources supply chain and fabrication

Much of the fabrication and pre-assembly for Pilbara and Goldfields projects happens in Perth's industrial estates. The overhead cranes, mobile cranes and telehandlers involved receive periodic and major inspection to the AS 2550 series and AS 1418.18, with NDT of critical members.

Utilities, telecommunications and insulated EWPs

Electricity distribution and telecommunications contractors across Perth run insulated EWPs that require dielectric testing to the applicable AS/NZS electrical standards, carried out with the AS 1418.10 mechanical and functional inspection.

Mobile inspection and turnaround

Our mobile teams cover greater Perth from Joondalup to Rockingham and Mandurah, certifying plant on-site with portable equipment. Routine reports and log-book updates are typically issued within one to two business days, with same or next-day attendance for urgent metropolitan work.
