EWP Inspections Karratha
On-site EWP and crane certification across Karratha and the Pilbara, servicing iron ore, LNG and oil and gas, and heavy-lift operations.
Karratha sits at the centre of the Pilbara, alongside the iron-ore export ports, the North West Shelf and LNG operations, and the vast resources supply chain feeding them. The heavy-lift cranes, telehandlers and EWPs here work in extreme heat, dust and, offshore of the coast, a highly corrosive marine atmosphere. EWP Certification Australia provides independent on-site certification across the region.
Iron ore, ports and heavy lift
The iron-ore export operations and ports around Dampier and Port Hedland's neighbouring corridor run heavy mobile cranes, overhead cranes and gantry cranes. We conduct periodic and major inspections to the AS 2550 series with load testing and NDT in place, giving close attention to corrosion and fatigue in the coastal, high-heat environment.
Oil, gas and processing
The North West Shelf, LNG and associated processing facilities operate cranes and access equipment under strict integrity regimes. We inspect and certify this plant to the AS 2550 series and AS 1418.10, and provide the engineering documentation these operations require.
Mobile inspection and turnaround
Our engineers attend Pilbara sites with portable test and NDT equipment, coordinating around FIFO rosters and shutdowns and issuing routine reports within one to two business days of attendance.
