The Port of Townsville and the region's refineries and processing plants operate overhead cranes, gantry cranes and heavy mobile cranes. We conduct periodic and major inspections to the AS 2550 series, with load testing and NDT in place, and pay close attention to tropical corrosion.
Defence, resources and construction
The Lavarack Barracks and RAAF presence, together with the resources supply chain and regional construction, keep telehandlers, boom lifts and vehicle loading cranes in service. We inspect these to AS 1418.10, AS 1418.11 and AS 2550.10, and can meet defence documentation requirements.
